Welcome to my new space on the Internet. Making it pretty is a task for the future. In the meantime, files will be transferred gradually from my old website.
My old website is with a small, rural-based ISP. During a recent change of ownership, some services (particularly member home page maintenence) were left in limbo, with neither the old owners nor the new taking care of them. I don't know all of the relevant circumstances, but the result is that I was forced to look for new territory on the web.
I have a blog called The Outer Hoard. The purpose of this site is to complement the blog by serving as a home for items that don't belong there, such as PHP scripts.
The domain name quidjfravzgembtchowlkspynx is a word I invented several years ago that contains every letter of the English alphabet, yet can be easily pronounced in five syllables. More information here.
Here is a list of items I have uploaded so far.
My latest project is the Blog Post Inspiration Engine.
Transference of items from old website is now complete. Note that a lot more of it went to my blog than to here.
A record of my customised Microsoft Word toolbars and menus (commentary here).
Magicians' secrets, including the Tale of the Three Altars, inside a password-protected folder. Contact me for access permission.
Trivia quiz on the history of science within my father's lifetime, originally compiled for his 60th birthday party in February 2010.
Code for a platform game written in Microsoft QBasic back in the day (commentary here).
Some PDF sheet music, including modes.pdf, a tune I composed as a teenager in the nineties making use of the concept of musical modes (commentary here), and FSMR.pdf, an unfinished composition that I was working on around 2004 (commentary here).
Elemental - a solitaire card game I invented, implemented in PHP.
Peaks & Pits - instructions for another game I invented, played with dominoes.
